Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement advanced software solutions for embedded systems and real-time applications in aerospace and industrial IoT domains.
  • Lead the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance, ensuring compliance with industry standards like DO-178C and MISRA.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, systems architects, and product managers to integrate software with complex hardware platforms.
  • Optimize software performance for resource-constrained environments, focusing on scalability, reliability, and low-latency operations.

Skills Required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with focus on embedded systems or real-time applications (experience)
  • Proven track record in developing software for safety-critical industries such as aerospace, automotive, or industrial automation (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with C/C++, RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS), and Linux kernel development (experience)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, unit testing, and version control (Git) (experience)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, ISTQB, or DO-178C training (experience)
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or model-based development tools (MATLAB/Simulink) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance embedded software for aerospace control systems and industrial IoT devices
  • Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and certification processes for safety-critical software
  • Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to define interfaces and ensure seamless integration
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time data processing, sensor fusion, and predictive analytics
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of code quality and innovation
