- Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies (V-Model, Agile)intermediate

- Proven track record in designing and delivering complex systems for aerospace, defense, or industrial applications (experience)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and project portfolios (experience)
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, requirements management, and verification processes (experience)
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for sensitive projects (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (experience)
- INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification or equivalent (experience)
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or SysML (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and integration of advanced systems solutions for Honeywell's product lines
- Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces while ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754A)
- Manage project portfolios, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment using tools like DOORS or Jira
- Mentor and develop a team of systems engineers, conducting performance reviews and technical training
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to resolve integration challenges and optimize system performance
- Conduct trade studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate system designs and innovations
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and present technical progress updates
