Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies to accelerate sales growth across assigned regions and partner ecosystems.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and resellers to maximize mutual business success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, partner feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, compliance, and alignment with Honeywell's commercial objectives.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide actionable insights, and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and legal teams to support partner enablement and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Represent Honeywell at industry events, partner summits, and customer engagements to enhance brand visibility and partnership strength.

Summary

As a Sr Channel Business Manager here at Honeywell, you will drive sales growth through effective channel management, build and nurture relationships with partners, identify new business opportunities, and lead contract negotiations. You will report directly to our Channel Sales Manager and you’ll work remotely in the Toronto, ON area.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in channel sales, partner management, or business development within the technology or industrial sectors (experience)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partnerships in international markets (experience)
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and managing complex partner agreements (experience)
  • Strong understanding of channel ecosystems, including distributors, VARs, and system integrators (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% internationally as needed (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Channel Sales Professional (CSP) (experience)
  • Experience in Honeywell's industries (Aerospace, Building Automation, or Safety & Productivity) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement channel partner programs to drive revenue growth and market penetration
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top-tier partners to co-develop sales opportunities
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new channel opportunities and competitive threats
  • Lead negotiations for channel contracts, rebates, and incentive programs ensuring profitability
  • Analyze channel performance data using CRM tools to optimize partner portfolios and forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver partner training, marketing support, and product enablement
  • Develop joint business plans with partners to align on mutual goals and execute high-impact campaigns
