Sr Channel Sales Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Job Overview

As a Sr Channel Sales Rep at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will manage key distributor and reseller relationships, identify untapped business opportunities, and execute high-impact sales strategies in the international market. Based out of our Charlotte, NC office on a hybrid schedule, this position offers the flexibility to balance office collaboration with remote productivity while advancing Honeywell's leadership in building technologies and industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across international markets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with channel partners, including distributors, VARs, and system integrators, to maximize partner performance and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market analysis, attending industry events, and leveraging CRM tools for lead generation.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures to secure profitable agreements with partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing, technical support, and global sales teams to align channel programs with Honeywell's innovation roadmap.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide coaching to partners, and implement corrective actions to drive sales growth and market penetration.
  • Represent Honeywell at trade shows, partner summits, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate pipeline.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas through channel partnerships in international markets (experience)
  • Experience leading contract negotiations and deal closures valued at $1M+ annually (experience)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and channel management tools (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Honeywell Partner Program accreditation (experience)
  • 10+ years in high-tech channel sales with experience in EMEA or APAC regions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Drive channel sales growth by developing joint business plans with partners and achieving 120%+ of revenue targets
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with top-tier distributors to expand Honeywell's market share internationally
  • Prospect and qualify new channel opportunities using data-driven insights and competitive analysis
  • Negotiate multi-year contracts, rebates, and incentives to optimize profitability and partner commitment
  • Analyze sales performance data to provide actionable insights and training to channel partners
  • Collaborate with marketing to co-develop campaigns that boost partner-led demand generation
  • Travel up to 30% internationally to support partner events, audits, and business reviews
