Job Overview

As a Sr Channel Sales Rep at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating sales growth through strategic channel management. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will build and nurture high-value relationships with channel partners, identify emerging business opportunities across international markets, and lead complex contract negotiations. Based out of our Charlotte, NC office on a hybrid schedule, this position offers the flexibility to collaborate with global teams while leveraging Honeywell's cutting-edge technologies in building automation, aerospace, and performance materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth, targeting 20-30% year-over-year increases through partner enablement and joint business planning.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key distributors, resellers, and OEM partners, conducting quarterly business reviews to align on mutual goals and performance metrics.
  • Prospect and qualify new channel opportunities in international markets, leveraging market intelligence and CRM tools to build a robust pipeline.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and incentives, ensuring compliance with Honeywell's legal and financial standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to deliver customized partner training and co-selling initiatives.
  • Monitor channel performance using KPIs such as partner revenue contribution, mindshare, and customer satisfaction, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Represent Honeywell at industry trade shows, partner summits, and customer events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas through channel partnerships, with demonstrated success in international markets (experience)
  • Experience leading complex contract negotiations and deal closures valued at $500K+ (experience)
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems such as Salesforce and channel management tools (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% internationally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Channel Sales Professional (CSP) (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products or similar industrial IoT, automation, or aerospace solutions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to expand partner networks and drive revenue growth
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners, conducting regular business planning and performance reviews
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in international markets through prospecting and market analysis
  • Lead negotiations for channel contracts, rebates, and incentive programs to maximize profitability
  • Provide partners with product training, marketing support, and technical resources to enhance sales effectiveness
  • Analyze channel performance metrics and generate reports to inform sales leadership decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to co-develop go-to-market plans and execute joint sales campaigns
