Sr Channel Sales Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Overview

As a Sr Channel Sales Rep at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will manage key channel relationships, identify expansion opportunities, and execute high-impact sales strategies in a hybrid work environment based out of our Charlotte, NC office. This position offers international exposure, collaborating with global partners to deliver Honeywell's innovative solutions in aerospace, building technologies, performance materials, and safety & productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with channel partners, distributors, and resellers to maximize mutual growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market analysis, lead generation, and partner ecosystem expansion.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures while ensuring compliance with Honeywell policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and technical teams to align channel programs with customer needs.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide forecasting, and implement corrective actions to optimize sales pipeline.
  • Conduct partner training sessions and joint business planning to enhance product adoption and sales effectiveness.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in channel sales, partner management, or B2B sales within the industrial technology or manufacturing sector (experience)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas through channel partnerships (minimum $5M annual revenue responsibility) (experience)
  • Experience in CRM systems such as Salesforce and channel management tools (experience)
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation, pricing models, and legal agreements in a global context (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% internationally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Honeywell Partner Program accreditation (experience)
  • 10+ years in channel sales with experience in aerospace, building automation, or safety technologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement channel sales strategies to drive 20%+ year-over-year growth in partner revenue
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with top-tier distributors and resellers, conducting quarterly business reviews
  • Prospect and qualify new channel opportunities through market research and competitive analysis
  • Negotiate and close multi-year contracts, including volume commitments and incentive programs
  • Analyze sales data and channel performance using tools like Salesforce to forecast and optimize pipeline
  • Collaborate with internal teams to co-create partner marketing campaigns and enablement resources
  • Mentor junior sales reps and conduct partner training on Honeywell product portfolios
