Sr Channel Sales Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Overview

As a Sr Channel Sales Rep at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through strategic channel management. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be based in our Charlotte, NC office on a hybrid work schedule. Your focus will be on building and nurturing relationships with channel partners, identifying new business opportunities in international markets, and leading high-impact contract negotiations to expand Honeywell's footprint in key industries such as aerospace, building technologies, and performance materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across international regions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, resellers, and strategic partners to maximize partner performance and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by conducting market analysis, attending industry events, and leveraging CRM tools.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms, compliance with Honeywell standards, and mutual profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product management, and technical support to deliver tailored solutions to partners.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide coaching to partners, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent Honeywell at trade shows, partner conferences, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas through channel partnerships (experience)
  • Experience in international sales markets with understanding of global trade regulations (experience)
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales analytics tools (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% internationally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications in channel sales management (e.g., Channel Sales Professional or Partner Program Management) (experience)
  • Experience selling industrial automation, aerospace, or building technologies solutions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in international territories
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with channel partners through regular engagement, joint business planning, and performance reviews
  • Prospect and qualify new channel opportunities by analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and partner potential
  • Negotiate complex contracts, pricing agreements, and incentive programs to ensure win-win outcomes and compliance
  • Analyze sales data and channel performance metrics to provide actionable insights and forecasts to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams to co-create partner enablement programs, marketing campaigns, and technical training
  • Mentor junior sales reps and channel managers to build a high-performing sales ecosystem
