Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Perform detailed variance analysis, reconciliations, and flux reporting to identify trends and anomalies, delivering insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, IFRS, and local regulatory requirements through robust internal controls and audit support.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives using ERP systems to streamline controllership activities and reduce cycle times.
- Collaborate with business partners, FP&A, and external auditors to resolve complex accounting issues and support strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development in controllership best practices.

- Proven expertise in SOX compliance, IFRS/GAAP, and internal controls (experience)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (experience)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to handle complex financial data (experience)

- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 audit or consulting experience (experience)
- Experience in manufacturing or technology sectors (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account certifications
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and prepare management reporting packs for business reviews
- Design and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure regulatory compliance
- Identify and champion process automation opportunities using tools like RPA, Power BI, or advanced Excel
- Partner with global finance teams and stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and support M&A activities
- Prepare audit schedules and serve as a key liaison during internal and external audits
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor controllership performance and drive continuous improvement
