Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports to ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.
- Supervise a team of controllership analysts, providing guidance on complex accounting issues, flux analysis, and variance reporting.
- Oversee the financial close process, identifying risks, implementing process improvements, and ensuring deadlines are met with zero defects.
- Conduct internal audits, policy enforcement, and SOX compliance activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate financial risks.
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc analysis to provide actionable insights for business leaders.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging tools like SAP and Oracle for enhanced reporting efficiency.

- CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification (experience)
- Proven experience leading financial close processes and ensuring SOX/IFRS compliance (experience)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)
- Experience in manufacturing or technology sectors preferred (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA (experience)
- Big 4 audit experience or exposure to shared services centers (experience)
- Advanced certifications like CISA or CIA (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial reporting, including balance sheet reviews, P&L analysis, and cash flow statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 controllership professionals, conducting performance reviews and skill development
- Implement and monitor internal controls, performing risk assessments and remediation plans in line with Honeywell policies
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, resolving discrepancies and delivering flux reports to leadership
- Collaborate with business units, tax, and treasury teams to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
- Drive process automation and analytics using advanced Excel, Power BI, and ERP tools to enhance efficiency
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Indian GAAP, Companies Act, and global standards through audits and training
