Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and Honeywell's global accounting policies.
- Lead financial close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, to meet aggressive reporting deadlines.
- Conduct internal controls testing, risk assessments, and remediation activities to mitigate financial risks and ensure SOX compliance.
- Mentor and develop a team of controllership analysts, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Tax, and Operations, to resolve complex accounting issues and support audits.
- Drive process optimization initiatives using automation tools and data analytics to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement updates to maintain compliance in a dynamic environment.

- 2+ years of supervisory experience leading finance teams (experience)
- In-depth knowledge of Indian GAAP (Ind AS), IFRS, and SOX compliance requirements (experience)
- Proven track record in managing financial close processes and external audits (experience)
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA (preferred but not mandatory) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or MBA with finance focus (experience)
- Big 4 audit experience or exposure to manufacturing/industrial sectors (experience)
- Advanced certifications like CISA or CIA (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end financial reporting cycle, including consolidation, flux analysis, and disclosure preparation to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Lead team in performing balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and journal entry validations with a focus on error reduction
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls frameworks, conducting gap analyses and remediation plans
- Manage interactions with external auditors, statutory authorities, and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless audits and compliance
- Drive automation of reporting processes using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, enhancing efficiency and data accuracy
- Mentor junior staff through performance reviews, training programs, and knowledge sharing sessions
- Analyze financial data trends to provide actionable insights and support ad-hoc reporting needs
