This hybrid role, based in the United States, offers the flexibility to work from home and our innovation hubs, reporting to the VP of Life Sciences Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting biopharma, biotech, and CRO executives to achieve $50M+ annual revenue targets.
  • Lead a team of 10-15 sales professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management to exceed quotas.
  • Prospect and close complex deals with C-suite stakeholders, navigating multi-million-dollar sales cycles involving software implementations.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and R&D to align sales initiatives with Honeywell’s Life Sciences software roadmap.
  • Build strategic partnerships with key industry players like Thermo Fisher and Siemens Healthineers to expand market reach.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor landscapes, and customer needs to refine go-to-market strategies for SaaS offerings.
  • Represent Honeywell at industry conferences such as BIO International and deliver executive briefings on digital transformation ROI.

  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with at least 5 years in life sciences or biopharma sectors (experience)
  • Proven track record of achieving $20M+ annual sales quotas in SaaS or cloud-based solutions (experience)
  • 7+ years in sales leadership roles, managing high-performing teams in complex B2B environments (experience)
  • Deep understanding of life sciences regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GxP compliance) (experience)
  • Experience selling LIMS, MES, ELN, or lab automation software to pharma/biotech clients (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Life Sciences (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP) or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant (experience)
  • Prior experience at a Fortune 500 company in industrial software or life sciences verticals (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement targeted sales strategies to penetrate Tier 1 biopharma accounts and expand market share
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a regional sales team to consistently surpass revenue and pipeline goals
  • Conduct needs assessments and solution demonstrations, closing deals valued at $1M+ with executive buy-in
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing and technical teams to create compelling sales collateral and proposals
  • Monitor sales metrics using CRM tools like Salesforce to forecast accurately and optimize performance
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnerships while ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Drive thought leadership through webinars, whitepapers, and events focused on digital transformation in life sciences
