Sr Facilities Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and ensure facility reliability.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Honeywell standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex building systems using diagnostic tools and blueprints.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders via CMMS software.
- Lead junior technicians, providing training and guidance on best practices.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7 to ensure continuous facility operations.

- 7+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead technician role (experience)
- Proven expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems (experience)
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and environmental compliance standards (experience)
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as Maximo or similar (experience)
- Valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in Glendale, AZ (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Engineering or related discipline (experience)
- CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) or similar professional certification (experience)
- Experience in a manufacturing or high-tech industrial environment (experience)
Responsibilities
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules on all facility systems to prevent failures and extend equipment life
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, including parts inventory management and vendor procurement
- Conduct thorough safety audits, hazard identifications, and corrective actions to maintain a zero-incident workplace
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to support facility expansions and upgrades
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on technical procedures and safety protocols
- Document all maintenance activities, generate reports, and ensure compliance with Honeywell's quality management system
