Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of 10-20 field service technicians, conducting performance evaluations, training programs, and career development initiatives to optimize team performance.
  • Plan and coordinate field service schedules, resource allocation, and deployment for installations, maintenance, and repairs of Honeywell's automation, safety, and control systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (ISO 9001), and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, EU directives) across international operations.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues remotely and on-site, utilizing diagnostic tools and Honeywell's proprietary software to minimize downtime.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting site visits, root cause analyses, and delivering tailored service reports to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manage service contracts, budgets, and inventory for spare parts, optimizing costs while achieving SLAs and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and product teams to provide field insights that inform product improvements and new service offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in field service operations, technical support, or industrial maintenance (experience)
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role managing field service teams (experience)
  • Proven track record in international operations with knowledge of global safety and regulatory standards (experience)
  • Experience servicing industrial automation, HVAC, or safety systems (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50% and work flexible hours (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Six Sigma Black Belt (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products or similar industrial control systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of field service teams, assigning tasks and monitoring progress via digital service management tools
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned outages
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions for recurring technical issues
  • Prepare detailed service reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior leadership review
  • Train technicians on new technologies, safety procedures, and Honeywell best practices
  • Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) with clients and ensure contractual compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction
