Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve advanced technical faults in Honeywell control systems, sensors, and automation hardware using diagnostic tools and proprietary software.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, calibrations, and upgrades on customer equipment to maximize uptime and compliance with industry standards.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and customer personnel on system operation, troubleshooting best practices, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, documenting findings and recommending process improvements to enhance system reliability.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to provide field insights that drive product enhancements and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all service activities comply with local regulations, Honeywell safety standards, and environmental guidelines during international deployments.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician in industrial automation, HVAC systems, or process control environments (experience)
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical systems (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally (up to 50%) and work in diverse cultural and operational settings (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for international work visas (experience)
  • Strong safety record with knowledge of OSHA, ISO, or equivalent standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Honeywell-specific certifications (e.g., Experion PKS, TDC 3000) or equivalent from Siemens, Emerson, or ABB (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or energy sector field services (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites worldwide to install, commission, and validate Honeywell systems and equipment
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify, troubleshoot, and repair hardware/software failures in real-time
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs, including system calibrations and performance optimizations
  • Generate detailed service reports, spare parts recommendations, and failure analysis documentation
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customer operators and maintenance teams
  • Collaborate remotely with global Honeywell teams to resolve escalated issues and implement upgrades
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring zero-incident performance during field operations
