Location: Lake Park, GA (Customer Site) | Workplace: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures using advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, PLCs, robotics, and automation systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and customer personnel on maintenance best practices, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to implement process improvements and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records, generate reports using CMMS software, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry safety standards.
  • Lead emergency response efforts for critical breakdowns, coordinating with vendors for parts and repairs to restore operations swiftly.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field (experience)
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a manufacturing or production environment (experience)
  • Proven expertise in PLC programming, VFDs, and industrial automation systems (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (experience)
  • Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) and predictive maintenance tools (experience)
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or root cause analysis methodologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial equipment, including motors, drives, sensors, and control systems to ensure 24/7 operational reliability
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis techniques
  • Train junior technicians and customer operators on equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and best practices to build internal capabilities
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS systems, including work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance KPIs
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade and retrofit legacy systems with modern automation technologies
  • Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, performing risk assessments and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
