Location: United States | Workplace: On-site

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex faults in industrial machinery, including PLC-controlled systems, robotics, and automated production lines using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment to optimize reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for recurring issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians and customers on maintenance best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade systems, integrate new technologies, and support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Six Sigma.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and compliance documentation in CMMS systems.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns 24/7, ensuring rapid restoration of production capabilities.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting (experience)
  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V), hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission (experience)
  • Experience with predictive maintenance tools like vibration analysis and thermography (experience)
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and rotating shifts with on-call availability (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Certifications such as CMRP, CRL, or ISA CCST (experience)
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment with Lean manufacturing principles (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial equipment including CNC machines, conveyors, and robotic systems to minimize production downtime
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs using CMMS software to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with OSHA standards
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to enhance system performance
  • Train junior technicians and customer operators on safe equipment handling, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install, commission, and validate new machinery and process improvements
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and safety gear while adhering to Honeywell's quality and environmental policies
  • Generate detailed reports on maintenance metrics, downtime trends, and cost-saving initiatives for leadership review
