Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on industrial automation systems, PLCs, robotics, and mechanical/electrical equipment to resolve complex failures efficiently.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on conveyor systems, pneumatic/hydraulic components, and CNC machinery to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Train and mentor on-site customers and junior technicians on best practices, safety protocols, and Honeywell proprietary technologies to build technical competency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including root cause analysis (RCA) and predictive maintenance using vibration analysis and thermography tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations, to optimize system performance and integrate IoT-enabled solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and generate reports on maintenance metrics, KPIs, and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and industry safety standards while promoting a culture of zero-harm operations.

  • Proven expertise in PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and industrial automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems (experience)
  • Experience with CMMS software and predictive maintenance tools (experience)
  • Ability to work independently on-site with minimal supervision (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar industrial control systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and control system failures using advanced diagnostic tools and schematics
  • Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life
  • Train customers and junior staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement corrective actions
  • Install, calibrate, and upgrade industrial sensors, actuators, and automation components
  • Collaborate with site engineers to optimize workflows and integrate smart manufacturing technologies
  • Document all activities in CMMS and prepare detailed reports for management review
