Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will design scalable, secure, and innovative IT architectures that support Honeywell's global operations in aerospace, building technologies, performance materials, and safety solutions. This hybrid role offers flexibility to collaborate with cross-functional teams while driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end IT solutions, including cloud-native applications, data platforms, and integration frameworks to support business-critical systems.
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, and edge computing aligned with Honeywell's strategic roadmap.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust architectural designs and reference architectures.
- Ensure architectural compliance with industry standards, security best practices (e.g., NIST, Zero Trust), and Honeywell's governance policies.
- Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and technical roadmapping to assess feasibility and innovation potential.
- Optimize IT infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability across hybrid multi-cloud environments.

- Proven track record architecting solutions in hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) (experience)
- Deep expertise in designing secure, scalable systems for large-scale enterprises (experience)
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in IT delivery (experience)
- Strong understanding of industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIST) and enterprise security frameworks (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or CISSP (experience)
- Experience in industrial IoT, AI/ML architectures, or aerospace/building automation systems (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-wide IT architectures, including microservices, APIs, and data lakes
- Develop technical roadmaps and reference architectures to support Honeywell's digital transformation strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define non-functional requirements like scalability, reliability, and security
- Perform architecture reviews, risk assessments, and optimization for cost and performance
- Drive adoption of modern technologies such as Kubernetes, serverless computing, and event-driven architectures
- Mentor and guide development teams on best practices for cloud-native development and deployment
- Stay abreast of industry trends and contribute to Honeywell's innovation pipeline through POCs and vendor evaluations
