Overview

As a Sr Program Administrator at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in our high-stakes operations supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) complex. Reporting directly to the Director of Program Management, you’ll work out of our Kansas City, MO location on a fully on-site schedule. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement classification policies and procedures in alignment with DOE directives, NNSA requirements, and federal security standards.
  • Oversee personnel management, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development for program teams.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources across the DOE complex.
  • Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders, DOE sites, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless execution.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives, promoting inclusivity, diversity, and high-performance team dynamics.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to mitigate program risks and maintain certification.

  • Experience coordinating activities across multi-site DOE or federal complexes (experience)
  • Active U.S. security clearance (Q-level or equivalent) or eligibility to obtain one (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Program Management, Security Management, or related discipline (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or DOE-specific classification training (experience)
  • 10+ years in DOE/NNSA programs with international coordination experience (experience)

  • Develop and implement comprehensive classification policies, procedures, and training programs aligned with DOE Order 475.1 and NNSA directives
  • Oversee personnel lifecycle management, including staffing, mentoring, performance reviews, and succession planning for program teams
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, from scoping and planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
  • Coordinate inter-site activities across the DOE complex, facilitating communication, resource sharing, and issue resolution
  • Drive change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, foster inclusive cultures, and implement best practices
  • Perform regular audits, risk analyses, and compliance assessments to safeguard classified information and program integrity
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, briefings, and recommendations to DOE stakeholders and Honeywell leadership
