Reporting to the Director of Program Management, you will drive alignment with Honeywell's strategic objectives, optimize program performance, and deliver exceptional value to customers in industries such as aerospace, building technologies, and performance materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver multi-million-dollar customer programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and manage detailed program plans, including scope, schedules, risk mitigation strategies, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring program requirements are met through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Monitor program metrics (e.g., CPI, SPI, EVMS) and implement corrective actions to drive performance improvements and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, finance, and sales teams to integrate technical solutions, manage changes, and achieve program milestones.
- Conduct program reviews, gate reviews, and post-program analyses to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ITAR, AS9100) and Honeywell's quality management systems.

- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-year programs with budgets exceeding $5M (experience)
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and program performance metrics (experience)
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification from PMI (experience)
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell products or systems (e.g., aerospace controls, building automation) (experience)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive program management plans, including baselines for scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Lead program kick-off meetings, status reviews, and customer demonstrations to ensure alignment and satisfaction
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks using structured methodologies like FMEA or Monte Carlo analysis
- Negotiate contracts, change orders, and scope adjustments with customers and internal stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing lean program management practices and agile methodologies where applicable
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on program health, forecasts, and financial performance
- Mentor junior program managers and contribute to Honeywell's program management center of excellence
