Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor program plans, budgets, and schedules for construction projects deploying Honeywell building automation systems.
  • Conduct support forecasting and capacity analysis to ensure alignment with delivery requirements and programmatic MOS (Management Operating System).
  • Support business leaders by presenting detailed programmatic updates, requirements, action items, and status reports.
  • Manage risks, earned value metrics, and quality assurance across project lifecycles in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute project deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Drive process improvements and strategic initiatives to achieve Honeywell's business performance goals.

Summary

As a Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting and coordinating various programs within Honeywell's Business Solutions unit. You will help implement program plans, budgets, schedules and execute a programmatic MOS for support forecasting & capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. You will play an important role in Honeywell’s process and strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will support business leaders and present programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status as assigned. You will also be working under moderate supervision of the Program Manager to execute on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value & quality while demonstrating PM skills including risk management. This role focuses on managing commercial and industrial construction projects that use Honeywell building technology products.

  • Proven track record managing construction projects involving building technologies such as HVAC, fire safety, or access control systems (experience)
  • Experience with earned value management (EVM), risk management, and program forecasting (experience)
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for project sites across the United States (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell or similar building automation systems (e.g., Niagara, BACnet) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed program plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for building controls projects
  • Perform capacity analysis and forecasting to optimize delivery timelines and meet customer commitments
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations on program status, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project performance using earned value metrics, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction partners, to resolve issues
  • Implement risk management processes to proactively address potential project delays or overruns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Honeywell's Management Operating System (MOS)
