Key Responsibilities

- Conduct risk assessments, trade studies, and performance analyses to optimize navigation accuracy in challenging environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware designers, and certification specialists, to resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and validate prototypes, perform hardware-in-the-loop testing, and support flight testing for real-world verification.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposal development for new business opportunities in aerospace navigation.

- Experience with aerospace standards such as DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, or MIL-STD-810 (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (experience)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or INCOSE certification (experience)
- Experience with real-time embedded systems, sensor fusion algorithms (e.g., Kalman filtering), or flight testing (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to design, develop, and integrate alternative navigation systems for aerospace applications
- Define system requirements, perform trade studies, and develop technical roadmaps aligned with customer needs and regulatory standards
- Execute system-level testing, including simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight trials to validate performance in GPS-denied scenarios
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risks using tools like MS Project or Jira, ensuring on-time delivery
