- Experience with international projects and familiarity with global bidding standards and regulations (experience)
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Aspen Capital Cost Estimator, Cleopatra Enterprise, or similar tools (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Project Management (experience)
- Professional certifications like PMP, CCP (Certified Cost Professional), or PE (Professional Engineer) (experience)
- 10+ years in industrial automation with exposure to Honeywell or similar OEM systems (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of detailed cost estimates and technical proposals for industrial automation solutions, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate scope, risks, and pricing assumptions
- Prepare and present proposal packages to senior leadership and clients, highlighting value propositions and differentiators
- Implement process improvements in estimation methodologies to enhance efficiency and bid win rates
- Perform risk assessments and scenario analyses to support strategic bidding decisions
- Mentor and develop a team of proposal engineers, conducting performance reviews and training sessions
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and Honeywell quality standards in all proposals
