Overview

As a Senior Sales Representative on Honeywell's Energy & Sustainability team within the Building Solutions organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives for commercial and industrial (C&I) clients. Honeywell, a Fortune 100 leader in innovative technologies, empowers you to spearhead sales of advanced energy solutions, distributed energy resources (DER), and resiliency-enhancing infrastructure modernizations. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close complex sales opportunities for energy efficiency solutions, DER systems, and building optimization technologies in C&I sectors.
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver compelling presentations demonstrating ROI on Honeywell's cutting-edge portfolios, including smart building controls and renewable integrations.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives, facility managers, and sustainability officers to expand market share.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, product, and service—to design customized proposals that drive infrastructure modernization and resiliency.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans, leveraging data analytics to identify high-potential leads and achieve/exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, energy trends, and competitive landscapes to position Honeywell as the preferred partner for sustainable transformations.
  • Provide post-sale support, ensuring seamless project handoffs and fostering long-term client partnerships for recurring revenue.

  • Deep understanding of commercial/industrial energy markets, DER, and sustainability regulations (experience)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and sales analytics platforms (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings and industry events (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Energy Management (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or LEED AP (experience)
  • Experience selling to Fortune 500 C&I clients in utilities, manufacturing, or real estate (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within C&I segments for energy efficiency and DER solutions
  • Lead consultative sales cycles, from discovery calls to contract negotiation and closure
  • Develop customized value propositions highlighting energy savings, resiliency, and sustainability benefits
  • Partner with technical teams to scope projects involving building automation, microgrids, and optimization software
  • Analyze market data and client feedback to refine sales strategies and product roadmaps
  • Mentor junior sales reps and contribute to team knowledge-sharing on emerging energy trends
  • Track pipeline health and forecast accuracy using CRM systems to meet aggressive revenue goals
