Key Responsibilities

  • Architect comprehensive, scalable solutions for complex customer challenges in building automation, industrial IoT, and enterprise systems integration.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of sales engineers, fostering technical excellence and sales success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, R&D, and sales to define solution roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct technical workshops, proofs-of-concept, and demonstrations to showcase Honeywell's value proposition.
  • Ensure solution designs align with industry standards, security best practices, and Honeywell's innovation frameworks.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to recommend advanced architectural patterns and emerging technologies.
  • Drive pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution proposals, and ROI analyses for multimillion-dollar deals.

As a Sr Solution Architect Engineer here at Honeywell, you will hold a key leadership role within our organization, overseeing a team of highly skilled sales engineers. You will report directly to our Appl/Sys Sales Engineering Mgr and you’ll work out of our Prague location on a Hybrid work schedule.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical sales or engineering teams (experience)
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions for Fortune 500 clients (experience)
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid architectures (experience)
  • Strong understanding of industrial protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC UA) and cybersecurity standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration (experience)
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, TOGAF, or CISSP (experience)
  • Experience in Honeywell products or similar (e.g., Forge, Experion) and international project delivery (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect end-to-end solutions integrating Honeywell's portfolio with customer ecosystems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Lead a team of sales engineers in technical sales cycles, from discovery to closure, achieving revenue targets
  • Develop and present compelling technical proposals, whitepapers, and solution blueprints to C-level stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices in solution design, emerging technologies, and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with global R&D and product teams to influence product roadmaps based on market insights
  • Perform technical due diligence, risk assessments, and optimization for complex deployments
