As the Sr. Solutions Engineer (Healthcare) at Honeywell, you will provide advanced technical expertise to drive sales of complex application and system solutions tailored to the healthcare industry. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments with healthcare clients to architect customized solutions integrating Honeywell's Niagara Framework, BMS (Building Management Systems), and healthcare-specific IoT sensors.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and ROI analyses to support sales cycles for multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and sales to refine solution proposals and resolve integration challenges.
  • Provide post-sales technical support, including system commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization to maximize customer satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission standards) and emerging technologies like AI-driven predictive maintenance to position Honeywell as a thought leader.
  • Contribute to solution roadmaps by gathering customer feedback and identifying new market opportunities in digital health and smart hospital ecosystems.

  • Proven track record of closing complex technical sales deals exceeding $1M in healthcare environments (experience)
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including HL7/FHIR standards, EMR integration, and IoT in clinical settings (experience)
  • Experience with building management systems (BMS), SCADA, or industrial IoT platforms (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or Business Administration (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Healthcare IT Professional (CHITP), Niagara 4 certification, or AWS/Azure for IoT (experience)
  • Prior experience in Honeywell or competitor products (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls) in healthcare vertical (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end healthcare solutions integrating Honeywell's automation platforms with existing hospital infrastructure
  • Lead technical workshops and RFI/RFP responses to differentiate Honeywell offerings in competitive bids
  • Perform system modeling, simulations, and performance benchmarking using tools like BACnet, Modbus, and edge computing
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with sales to develop winning strategies for key accounts
