Reporting to the Director of Statutory Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining Honeywell's reputation for financial integrity and operational excellence in a hybrid work environment that balances collaboration and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file accurate statutory financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory reports in compliance with local GAAP/IFRS standards across international entities.
  • Lead internal and external audit processes, including coordination with Big 4 auditors, responding to inquiries, and resolving findings to ensure timely audit completions.
  • Develop and implement robust controls for statutory reporting, SOX compliance, and audit readiness to mitigate financial risks.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify discrepancies, variances, and opportunities for process optimization in multi-currency environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including tax, controllership, and legal, to support M&A activities, restructurings, and new market entries.
  • Stay abreast of evolving global regulations (e.g., EU directives, OECD guidelines) and advise senior leadership on impacts to Honeywell's reporting framework.
  • Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement initiatives using automation tools like ERP systems.

Required Qualifications

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) (experience)
  • Proven track record managing audits with external firms in international jurisdictions (experience)
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and statutory compliance requirements (experience)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (experience)
  • Big 4 audit experience or public accounting background (experience)
  • Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., English + European/Asian languages) (experience)
  • Advanced certifications like CIA or advanced SOX expertise (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preparation and submission of statutory accounts, ensuring 100% compliance with local regulations and deadlines
  • Coordinate and manage full audit lifecycle, from planning to final reporting, achieving clean audit opinions
  • Design and enhance internal controls for financial reporting accuracy and audit efficiency
  • Perform variance analysis and reconciliations for complex, multi-entity structures
  • Provide technical guidance on regulatory changes and implement process improvements using data analytics
  • Support global tax and transfer pricing initiatives through accurate statutory data provision
  • Train and develop team members on best practices in statutory reporting and auditing
