Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for critical categories, targeting 10-15% annual cost savings while mitigating supply risks.
- Conduct supplier market analysis, RFx processes, and negotiations to secure optimal contracts and partnerships.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, including performance scorecards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business objectives, product development cycles, and sustainability goals.
- Lead supplier diversification and risk management efforts to ensure supply chain continuity amid global disruptions.
- Utilize data analytics tools to forecast demand, track KPIs, and report sourcing metrics to senior leadership.
- Drive digital transformation in procurement through adoption of e-sourcing platforms and AI-driven analytics.

Summary

- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings (10%+ annually) through sourcing initiatives (experience)
- Experience managing global suppliers and complex negotiations in a multinational setting (experience)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba) (experience)
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA, or equivalent (experience)
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPCM (experience)
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and execute category sourcing strategies to achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply assurance
- Lead RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations to secure best-value agreements
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews and performance assessments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sourcing strategies into product development and operations planning
- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and total cost of ownership to recommend optimal sourcing decisions
- Develop and monitor supplier risk mitigation plans, including dual-sourcing and contingency strategies
- Prepare executive-level reports on sourcing KPIs, savings realization, and supply chain performance
