Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for critical categories, including raw materials, components, and services, achieving annual savings targets of 10-15% through supplier negotiations and market analysis.
- Conduct thorough supplier market research, RFx processes, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations to identify and onboard best-in-class suppliers while mitigating supply chain risks.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and operations, to align sourcing strategies with business needs and ensure seamless integration of new suppliers.
- Implement advanced procurement tools and analytics to monitor supplier performance, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement in contract compliance and quality metrics.
- Negotiate complex, high-value contracts with legal and risk management, incorporating sustainability, diversity, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) criteria.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to build resilient supply chains, managing disruptions through scenario planning and alternative sourcing options.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost savings, supplier on-time delivery, and quality rates to senior leadership.

- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings through supplier negotiations and strategic initiatives (experience)
- Experience managing global supply chains and conducting RFx processes (experience)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software (experience)
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA, or equivalent (experience)
- Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing sectors with knowledge of ITAR and export compliance (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize sourcing for high-volume spend areas, targeting double-digit year-over-year savings
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and development processes, including site audits and performance scorecards
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure favorable agreements while ensuring supply continuity
- Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and geopolitical risks to inform proactive sourcing decisions
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to influence design-for-sourcing and value engineering initiatives
- Drive supplier diversity programs and sustainability goals in alignment with Honeywell's corporate objectives
- Mentor junior procurement staff and contribute to department-wide process improvements
