We are seeking a Junior Production Supervisor to join our international manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will ensure the seamless execution of production plans and operational discipline by effectively managing assigned human and material resources, as well as key production factors. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing manufacturing processes within Honeywell's state-of-the-art facilities, driving efficiency, safety, and quality in a dynamic global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities to meet scheduled targets, monitor workflow, and adjust resources in real-time to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Administer human resources by leading a team of production associates, conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching, and fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Manage material resources, including inventory control, procurement coordination, and waste reduction to optimize costs and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), lean manufacturing principles, and Honeywell's Operational Excellence framework to uphold quality standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, yield rates, and safety metrics; analyze variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to resolve production bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, environmental health & safety (EHS) standards, and Honeywell's global policies.

  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity (experience)
  • Proven track record of managing production teams and resources in a fast-paced industrial setting (experience)
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, and operational excellence methodologies (experience)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (preferred for international operations); additional languages a plus (experience)
  • Availability for on-site work in international locations with potential shift rotations (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration (experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, automation, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise production lines to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
  • Allocate and optimize human resources, including shift scheduling, training, and performance management for 15-30 team members
  • Control material usage through inventory tracking, just-in-time replenishment, and supplier coordination to reduce costs by 5-10%
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production variances using tools like 5-Why and fishbone diagrams, implementing sustainable solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, targeting 10%+ gains in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Facilitate daily Gemba walks and team huddles to promote operational discipline and employee engagement
  • Prepare production reports, present metrics to senior leadership, and support audits for ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 compliance
