Overview

Join Honeywell's dynamic Supply Chain team as a Supply Planner II in our Chihuahua, CHI location. In this hybrid role, you will play a pivotal role in managing supply planning to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products across our international operations. Reporting directly to the Sr Demand Planning Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels, minimize disruptions, and drive supply chain efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supply plans using advanced planning systems to balance demand forecasts with production capacities and supplier capabilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels, analyze stock discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to achieve target service levels and reduce excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to resolve supply constraints and escalate risks proactively.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and recommend process improvements to enhance resilience and efficiency.
  • Generate and distribute key performance reports, such as fill rates, on-time delivery metrics, and inventory turns, to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and lead efforts in supplier performance evaluations.

Summary

  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Kinaxis (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and inventory optimization (experience)
  • Experience collaborating with global suppliers and cross-functional teams (experience)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA (experience)
  • CPIM (Certified in Planning and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute monthly supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production schedules, and supplier lead times to ensure 95%+ on-time delivery
  • Analyze supply chain data using tools like Excel, Tableau, or advanced planning software to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimization strategies
  • Manage safety stock levels and reorder points through statistical modeling to minimize carrying costs while maintaining service levels
  • Lead weekly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings, providing supply insights and scenario planning for demand variability
  • Coordinate with procurement to negotiate delivery schedules and resolve material shortages impacting production
  • Monitor and report on KPIs including inventory turnover, supplier OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and supply plan accuracy
  • Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline supply processes
