Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop system architectures for aerospace, industrial automation, or building management systems, utilizing model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Implement and integrate software, hardware, and firmware components to create robust, scalable solutions.
- Conduct requirements analysis, verification, and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C, ISO 26262, or ARP4754A.
- Manage system lifecycle processes, including risk assessment, configuration management, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware designers, and quality assurance, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues using root cause analysis and diagnostic tools.
- Document designs, test plans, and reports to support regulatory audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related discipline (experience)
- Certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent (experience)
- Experience with agile development methodologies in a systems context (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system requirements specifications using tools like DOORS or Polarion
- Perform system integration testing and support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations
- Analyze system performance data to identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user needs into technical requirements and architectures
- Support design reviews, trade studies, and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Contribute to continuous improvement by updating processes and tools based on project learnings
- Prepare technical documentation for system handoff, certification, and customer delivery
