Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect complex multi-domain systems, ensuring seamless integration of hardware, software, and firmware components.
  • Develop and validate system requirements using tools like DOORS, SysML, and MATLAB/Simulink to meet stringent industry standards.
  • Lead system-level testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to achieve high reliability and performance in real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and quality assurance teams to resolve integration challenges and deliver robust solutions.
  • Manage system lifecycle processes, from concept through deployment and sustainment, adhering to Honeywell's engineering excellence framework.
  • Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and trade studies to mitigate potential issues and enhance system safety.
  • Document designs, generate technical reports, and present findings to stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • Proven track record in requirements management and system verification/validation processes (experience)
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect (experience)
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 15288, DO-178C, or ARP4754A (experience)
  • Hands-on experience in embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), or control systems development (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (experience)
  • INCOSE certification (e.g., CSEP or ASEP) (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial automation sectors (experience)
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies for systems development (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement end-to-end system solutions for multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Perform detailed system modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow
  • Lead cross-functional teams in system integration, testing, and certification activities to deliver on time and within budget
  • Identify and resolve system-level issues through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs) and verification test plans
  • Collaborate with global Honeywell teams to incorporate best practices and emerging technologies into project roadmaps
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes
