Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect complex systems by translating customer requirements into technical specifications using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
- Implement and integrate system components, ensuring seamless interoperability and adherence to industry standards such as DO-178C and ARP4754A.
- Lead requirements analysis, verification, and validation processes to mitigate risks and ensure system reliability in high-stakes environments.
- Manage system lifecycle activities, from concept development through deployment and sustainment, utilizing tools like DOORS, Cameo, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to resolve integration issues and optimize system performance.
- Conduct trade studies, performance modeling, and failure modes analysis (FMEA) to innovate and improve system efficiency.
- Support regulatory compliance and certification efforts for aerospace and industrial applications.

- Hands-on experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, DOORS Next, or Enterprise Architect (experience)
- Familiarity with safety-critical standards like DO-178C, ARP4754A, or ISO 26262 (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related discipline (experience)
- Professional certifications such as INCOSE CSEP or PMP (experience)
- Experience with real-time embedded systems or avionics development (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and design multi-disciplinary systems integrating hardware, software, and firmware components
- Develop and manage system requirements using traceability tools to ensure full coverage and compliance
- Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink or similar platforms
- Lead integration testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for system-level issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers
- Conduct risk assessments, trade studies, and design reviews to optimize system performance and cost
- Document system designs, test plans, and reports for regulatory submissions and customer deliverables
