Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect complex systems by translating customer requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with industry standards and Honeywell's quality protocols.
- Implement and integrate system components using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, performing simulations and validations to optimize performance.
- Manage system lifecycle processes, including requirements management, risk assessment, and configuration control, to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
- Lead cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues, applying root cause analysis techniques like FMEA and DMAIC.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with safety-critical standards such as DO-178C and ISO 26262.
- Conduct system testing, verification, and validation activities, generating comprehensive reports and documentation for regulatory submissions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating emerging technologies like AI/ML and IoT into system designs.

- Proven track record of working with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or MATLAB/Simulink (experience)
- Experience with safety-critical systems and standards like ARP4754A, DO-178C, or MIL-STD-498 (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated in multi-disciplinary team environments (experience)
- Ability to obtain necessary security clearances or certifications as required by projects (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field (experience)
- INCOSE certification (e.g., CSEP or ASEP) (experience)
- Experience with digital twins, AI/ML integration, or IoT in systems engineering (experience)
- Prior exposure to Honeywell products or similar avionics/industrial control systems (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain system architecture models using MBSE methodologies to support requirement traceability and design verification
- Perform trade studies and gap analyses to select optimal system components and technologies
- Lead integration testing and qualification of systems, ensuring compliance with functional safety and cybersecurity requirements
- Facilitate design reviews and provide technical leadership to resolve interface issues across hardware, software, and mechanical domains
- Document system designs, including interface control documents (ICDs) and verification test plans
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements in systems engineering practices
- Support proposal development by estimating system engineering efforts and risks for new business opportunities
