Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production operators, conducting regular performance evaluations and creating individualized growth plans.
  • Motivate team members through effective communication, recognition programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Conduct production consultations and process reviews to identify bottlenecks, implement lean manufacturing principles, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage operator scheduling to optimize workforce utilization, minimize downtime, and meet production targets.
  • Monitor and analyze team productivity metrics, using data-driven insights to drive improvements and report to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to align production goals with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing activities.

  • Proven track record of leading production teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment (experience)
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, or continuous improvement processes (experience)
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and productivity metrics (experience)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Czech, German) are advantageous for international operations (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering Management or Business Administration (experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, automation, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of operators to meet production demands
  • Conduct daily production consultations to troubleshoot issues and optimize workflows
  • Design and implement operator shift schedules to maximize efficiency and resource allocation
  • Evaluate team productivity using KPIs and implement corrective actions for underperformance
  • Drive motivation through coaching, feedback sessions, and incentive programs
  • Lead safety audits and ensure adherence to Honeywell's quality and environmental standards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies into production processes
