Reporting to the Global Technical Support Manager, you will collaborate across regions to troubleshoot complex issues, deliver solutions, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-2 and tier-3 technical support for Honeywell's industrial automation, IoT-enabled devices, and building management systems, resolving issues via phone, email, chat, and remote diagnostics.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems using advanced diagnostic tools and Honeywell proprietary platforms.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to empower customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and field service teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, contributing to root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Monitor support tickets using CRM systems like Salesforce, prioritizing high-impact cases and achieving SLAs for response and resolution times.
  • Conduct remote software updates, firmware flashes, and system configurations to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Deliver proactive support through customer outreach, webinars, and on-site visits (as needed) to enhance product adoption and user proficiency.

  • Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments (experience)
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) (experience)
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model with occasional international travel (experience)
  • Strong English communication skills; multilingual proficiency preferred for global support (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a technical discipline or MBA (experience)
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL v4, or Honeywell-specific product certifications (experience)
  • Experience supporting IoT, SCADA, or building automation systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert-level technical support for Honeywell's suite of industrial software, hardware, and connected systems via multiple channels
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and collaborate with R&D to implement permanent fixes
  • Create and update technical documentation, including FAQs, video tutorials, and best practices guides
  • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential failures using analytics tools
  • Train and mentor junior support staff and customers on product features and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) in all support activities
  • Generate reports on support trends, customer feedback, and resolution efficacy for leadership review
