Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities for industrial automation products and services within assigned international territories.
  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver compelling product demonstrations to showcase Honeywell's automation solutions.
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans, achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and channel partners, to provide customized solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in manufacturing, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals sectors.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product enhancements.
  • Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in international markets (experience)
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies such as PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS systems (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% internationally (experience)
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) preferred for specific territories (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or industry-specific credentials (e.g., Rockwell Automation or Siemens certified) (experience)
  • Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and ERP integration in sales processes (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking at industry events, trade shows, and through digital channels
  • Perform technical sales presentations and ROI analyses to influence C-level executives and engineering teams
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Partner with technical support and application engineers to develop tailored automation solutions for client challenges
  • Monitor territory performance using KPIs, adjusting strategies to optimize sales pipeline and revenue growth
  • Provide market intelligence on emerging trends in IIoT, AI-driven automation, and cybersecurity to product teams
  • Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to team training on Honeywell's latest automation innovations
