Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools to validate complex software applications.
  • Lead test automation projects from requirements analysis through deployment, integrating CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies and resolve defects.
  • Perform root cause analysis on test failures and production issues, optimizing test coverage and reducing false positives.
  • Mentor junior engineers on best practices in test automation, code quality, and agile methodologies.

Summary

As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead advanced software development projects, enhance and maintain critical software components, and troubleshoot complex issues.   • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ (experience)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps (experience)
  • Familiarity with testing tools including Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or pytest (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer or equivalent certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial automation domains (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement robust test automation suites for software applications, focusing on unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software releases
