Key Responsibilities

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel 75-100% domestically (experience)
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and obtain necessary site clearances (experience)
  • EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET Level III or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems or Controls (experience)
  • Honeywell or competitor (Johnson Controls, Siemens) product certifications (experience)
  • Experience leading field service teams or managing multiple site projects (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Independently commission and startup HVAC control systems, verifying integration with BMS and third-party devices
  • Diagnose and resolve control logic, sensor calibration, and network communication failures using oscilloscopes and software tools
  • Install controllers, actuators, sensors, and wiring per blueprints and Honeywell standards
  • Optimize system performance for energy efficiency, leveraging analytics from Honeywell Forge platform
  • Generate comprehensive commissioning reports, including test data and optimization recommendations
  • Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with contractors for seamless project delivery
  • Ensure all work complies with ASHRAE, NEC, and local building codes
