Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues in fire alarm systems, detection sensors, and suppression controls using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Support customer inquiries via phone, email, and remote access, documenting resolutions in our CRM system for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of FIRE products in simulated and real-world environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to update technical documentation, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
  • Conduct basic performance testing and data analysis on fire safety systems to ensure compliance with international standards like EN54 and NFPA.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for field failures and propose preventive measures.

  • Prior internship or project experience in fire safety, building automation, or security systems (experience)
  • Familiarity with fire protection standards (e.g., EN54, VdS, NFPA) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for Honeywell FIRE products, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and integration
  • Diagnose faults in fire detection panels, smoke/heat detectors, and suppression systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and proprietary software
  • Document support cases, create knowledge articles, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers with detailed reports
  • Assist in product testing, validation, and certification processes to meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with sales, field service, and R&D teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction
  • Update system configurations and perform remote firmware updates for deployed fire safety installations
  • Participate in training sessions and shadowing opportunities to deepen expertise in fire technology
