Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll play a vital part in delivering safe, efficient pharmacy services:

• Input patient data and prescription details into the pharmacy information management system accurately.
• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders as permitted by Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Prepare medications for dispensing, including packaging and shipment preparation.
• Enter medical supply orders, conduct inventory, place orders, check in deliveries, stock shelves, and remove expired items.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, clinics, caregivers, and physicians.

Qualifications & Requirements

We seek detail-oriented team players with the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active State Pharmacy Technician license or national registration/license required.
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience highly preferred; inpatient hospital experience a strong plus.
• Past IV experience advantageous.
• Strong verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
• Comfort with repetitive tasks, multitasking, technology (computers, smartphones, tablets), and flexible scheduling.
