Step into the energetic role of Host at FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar, located within a Choice Hotels property in Bloomington, Minnesota. This position combines the duties of greeter, host, and cashier in a timeless yet modern 175-seat restaurant and 125-seat lounge. FireLake features regional, local, and sustainable foods grilled, rotisserie-cooked, or smoked over real burning wood, paired with local brews, a selective wine list, and a modern cocktail program. As Host, you'll prepare beverages promptly, maintain high quality and consistency, and ensure every guest receives the Radisson experience of 100% satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you'll uphold courteous, efficient, and welcoming standards from the entrance to the dining area. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high visibility at the greeter station and circulating to assist servers, respond to guest requests, and monitor food and beverage efficiency.
• Greet arriving guests with warm, sincere greetings, manage reservations via phone and in-person, and promptly seat parties while balancing server sections.
• Notify servers of new seats, maintain waiting lists, and ensure steady guest flow in coordination with kitchen and staff.
• Elicit feedback from departing guests to drive improvements, boosting guest satisfaction and revenues.
• Assist with cleaning tables, chairs, floors, polishing silver, folding linens, and side work to keep the space pristine.
• Provide personal attention, resolve issues with empathy using the 'Yes I Can!' philosophy, and deliver genuine hospitality through teamwork.
