Role Overview

As a House Attendant at Choice Hotels in Chicago, Illinois, you play a vital role in maintaining the impeccable standards of our premier brands like Radisson and Comfort Inn. Key Responsibilities

Your daily duties as a House Attendant include performing all shift checklist responsibilities and reporting requirements. Stay familiar with hotel departments, hours, and services to answer basic housekeeping questions confidently. Assist the team with training, supplies, and support for consistent quality in guest rooms and public areas.

Maintain strict key control for hotel keys and electronic cards. Clean and stock linen closets, vacuum hallways including baseboards, and turn in lost and found items per procedures. Dust light fixtures, pick up dirty linens, strip rooms when needed, and sort terry and linens into laundry carts. Put away supplies, ensure trash is properly disposed of, and run items to guest rooms, attendants, and supervisors.

Actively engage in housekeeping's deep clean and preventive maintenance programs, attend departmental meetings, and carpet clean rooms and hallways as required. Report damages or hazards immediately, keep stock levels at par, clean elevator tracks, and perform all housekeeping duties per hotel training and checklists.
