Partner with HP Tech Ventures and Corporate Development to evaluate startups, VCs, and partnerships, while crafting pristine executive presentations that distill technical complexity into actionable insights. Your ability to structure ambiguity, synthesize data, and 'see around corners' will fuel HP's innovation ecosystem, ensuring our hardware, software, and edge solutions redefine industry standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creation of strategic frameworks, hypothesis trees, and executive-ready narratives simplifying complex AI and edge tech landscapes
  • Develop visually compelling slides distilling data, frameworks, and technical content into high-clarity recommendations
  • Conduct structured market, customer, and competitive analyses across GenAI, edge AI, multimodal AI, and vertical applications
  • Synthesize signals into actionable insights defining HP's right-to-play and win strategies
  • Build TAM/SAM models, ecosystem maps, adoption curves, and category frameworks
  • Create data-driven business plans articulating opportunity size, economics, monetization, costs, and risks
  • Develop investment theses for build/partner/invest/acquire decisions balancing strategy, finance, and feasibility
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, TIO, and BU leaders to align strategies with HP's technology roadmap
  • Engage startups, VCs, research labs, and partners to map trends and identify collaboration opportunities
  • Turn external signals into actionable recommendations for HP’s ELT and Board
  • Drive cross-functional alignment through insight-led storytelling and influence senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • 10–15 years in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or product strategy roles
  • Experience building business plans, TAM analyses, investment theses, and executive narratives in emerging technology domains
  • Experience working with AI, cloud, software, or advanced compute portfolios
  • Strong financial modeling and business case development capabilities
  • Demonstrated track record of crafting high-quality C-suite presentations and strategic recommendations
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, frame problems independently, and move quickly to insight and action
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced technical/business degree
