Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and research customer receivables account delinquencies to determine optimal communication methods for payment facilitation
  • Resolve disputes on delinquent accounts, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely collections from customers
  • Identify trends in non-payment issues and collaborate with internal HP partners to resolve them proactively
  • Initiate and manage the dispute resolution process with HP internal teams, ensuring resolutions benefit both HP and customers
  • Analyze at-risk customer accounts and recommend tailored strategies to prevent future delinquencies
  • Apply intermediate subject matter expertise to solve moderately complex business issues in collections
  • Provide analysis and limited project direction as an informed team member within the finance organization
  • Follow established guidelines, interpret policies, and make recommendations on unique circumstances
  • Contribute to HP's customer-centric culture by maintaining positive relationships during collections activities
  • Support HP's innovation-driven finance operations by leveraging data insights for process improvements
  • Monitor collection processes to ensure compliance with financial standards and HP policies

Required Qualifications

  • First level university degree with a focus in business or economics, or equivalent practical experience
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or logistics
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge and understanding of financial concepts
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in analyzing customer accounts and resolving payment disputes
  • Familiarity with order management and dispute resolution processes
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment within defined procedures
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
