Key Responsibilities

  • Support process and equipment technical follow-up in HP’s Smart Manufacturing operations
  • Analyze and improve process and tooling performance in areas like quality, yield, machine uptime, and throughput
  • Conduct product failure analysis and testing to enhance reliability
  • Perform process and product characterization to drive continuous improvements
  • Develop real-time dashboards and reports to visualize trends and insights
  • Innovate on new manufacturing technologies aligned with Industrial 4.0 initiatives
  • Collaborate on assigned projects to optimize OEE and operational efficiency
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making using statistical analysis
  • Assist in sustainable manufacturing efforts to support HP’s commitment to positive planetary impact
  • Document findings and present results to engineering teams

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Electronic/Electrical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, or Material Science, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical thinking and data analytics capabilities
  • Fundamental knowledge of statistics, probability, or data analytics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Good visualization skills for creating real-time dashboards and reports to identify trends and insights
  • Available for full-time internship during the academic term
  • Legal authorization to work in Malaysia without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial internships
