Key Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for the PC software portfolio at HP Inc., considering market trends, technological advancements, and customer feedback
  • Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle management, from ideation and business case development through design, development, launch, and post-release optimization
  • Conduct continuous market and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats, recommending adjustments to strategy and priorities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and executive teams to ensure alignment and successful product delivery
  • Champion customer needs by gathering actionable feedback and ensuring user voice drives HP's innovative software experiences
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers, fostering innovation, accountability, and professional growth
  • Develop, present, and defend business cases for new product initiatives aligned with HP's corporate strategy and financial targets
  • Define, track, and report on KPIs to measure product and team success, using data-driven insights for continuous improvement
  • Identify risks in product development or market positioning and proactively formulate mitigation strategies
  • Engage stakeholders as the primary point of contact for PC software direction, priorities, and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in software product management, including at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role
  • Demonstrated success managing the product lifecycle for PC software products, ideally in both B2B and B2C environments
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver compelling product strategies that drive growth and achieve business objectives
  • Deep understanding of PC operating systems, application software, and evolving user needs in the PC ecosystem
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
