Key Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate account plans for large commercial accounts, focusing on value/volume portfolio management
  • Apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities for profitable revenue growth
  • Engage customers and internal teams to align requirements with HP's capabilities and select optimal supply chains
  • Develop future business plans with management and independently execute strategies
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high loyalty and deep understanding of business needs
  • Manage account planning through reviews, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Coordinate account forecasts, planning, reporting, and protect/grow HP's business
  • Update and manage opportunities in pipeline tools, implementing best practices
  • Achieve quarterly, half-yearly, and annual quotas and margins
  • Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes for seamless account strategy execution
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of work experience in account management, telesales, or product specialty (computers, printers, servers, storage)
  • Proven track record of achieving and managing sales quotas and margins
  • Demonstrated competence in consultative selling techniques
  • Experience in account planning and pipeline management
  • Strong understanding of supply chain alignment with customer requirements
  • Ability to navigate complex internal and external stakeholder landscapes
  • Experience mentoring junior account managers
