As a key player in HP’s services organization, you will maintain and service HP Commercial Web Printing Presses, utilizing advanced proactive monitoring tools to prevent issues and minimize downtime. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive post-sales software support, resolving hardware and software problems on specialized systems, and collaborating with end users and HP Authorized Service Providers. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical repairs, combined with strong troubleshooting skills, will directly contribute to HP’s mission of reshaping how the world prints through reliable, high-performance technology. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service HP Commercial Web Printing Presses, ensuring uptime in production environments
  • Lead technical support for end users operating HP PageWide Presses using proactive monitoring tools for issue prevention
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by clarifying needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Handle customer-relation problems promptly, escalating issues per established procedures
  • Provide comprehensive software services, post-sales, and service delivery support for remote or local accounts
  • Offer direct post-sales systems technical support to end users and HP Authorized Service Providers
  • Solve technical problems on assigned hardware and software platforms for standard and specialized systems
  • Use proactive monitoring procedures to identify and act on problem-prevention opportunities
  • Maintain documentation, collaborate on process improvements, and ensure data confidentiality
  • Complete tasks with minimal supervision in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment
  • Travel at least 50% to customer sites across Ohio to deliver field support

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) or higher secondary education or commensurate work experience
  • Typically 4-6 years of related work experience in customer support, account management, on-site customer support, or mission-critical systems
  • Experience with hardware support of printers, preferably commercial printers
  • Mechanical and electrical experience and skillset
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Basic networking, operating systems, and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Detailed understanding of general/technical aspects of on-site printing system repair work
  • Demonstrated competence in maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
